Claire has many years teaching experience including individual lessons and whole class tuition, and has given masterclasses in both performing and teaching. As well as teaching Drum kit and Orchestral Percussion she has previously been an examiner for the London College of Music Examinations. Claire is proud to be a teacher ambassador for Roland.
She is the author of “How to Teach Drums“ (featured in Rhythm and Modern Drummer magazines) about which people have kindly said the following:

A number of Claire’s pupils have gone on to study music at university and specialist music institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music, ACM, BIMM and The Institute. They’ve also been members of both the National Youth Orchestra and National Youth Wind Orchestra.
